Michelle Michael

Michelle is an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years’ experience across allied health, including paediatrics, leadership, and aged care roles, with a more recent dedicated focus on supporting children and families.

She enjoys getting to know each child within their family unit—what they love, what helps them feel safe, and what supports them to participate. Michelle is especially passionate about early intervention and believes therapy works best when it is practical, relationship-based, and embedded in everyday life at home, in childcare, and at school.

Having worked with people of all ages, Michelle’s experience in leadership and complex care has shaped a calm and flexible approach. She brings this into her work with children, supporting sensory regulation, motor skills, independence in daily activities, and helping children build confidence to participate at school and in social settings. Michelle values working alongside families, educators, and support teams to develop strategies that genuinely work in real-life contexts.

Her approach is guided by compassion, respect, and her Christian faith, which shapes how she supports children and families with care, patience, and encouragement.

Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband and their young daughters. They love being outdoors together—especially swimming, camping, visiting the park, and making the most of family time.
